CHITINA HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST
Join us in Chitina and make the Chitina House a unique part of your Alaskan experience!
Our historical bed and breakfast will take you back to a time gone by. Our rooms are clean and
spacious, and the bunkhouse is authentic to the turn of the century living. Each room has a queen size bed and a single bed. Our great room offers an inviting room for breakfast, visiting, reading or just visiting with other guests. The outdoor porch's
allows for relaxing and unwinding while experiencing the spectacular surrounding views.
We are located just around the bend from the Copper River, home of the world famous Copper River salmon and in the quiet of night, you can often hear the rushing of the river.
For those traveling on to McCarthy by air, we are just a few minutes from the Chitina airport.
If driving the 67 miles from Chitina to McCarthy, we offer a wonderful rest before the long drive.
The McCarthy road is a dirt road, but generally in good condition.
Expect the drive to Kennicott and McCarthy to be about three hours.
Start your day with our continental breakfast (included in the room rate) and
enjoy our homemade breads, jams and tasty treats.
